Babble Brain

Yeah, someone found my blog! I am a 32 yr. mother of three beautiful children and proud wife of my wonderful husband~ Matthew. I am blessed beyond my comprehension! I hope you too will be~ His gift is free if you receive. You have nothing to lose and all to gain! Ephesians 2:8-9 For it is by grace that you are saved, through your faith -not from yourselves, it is the gift of God. Not by works, so that no one can boast.

Ford Update!

Pray specific!
We found out today another 60 people were put on lay off as of Jan 1st. It is no longer voluntary layoff, its indefinite- meaning you are done with Ford and need to decide if your taking your buyout you signed up for or if your holding out to see if you get into floback.

Praise God! So far Matt is NOT on that layoff list BUT it can change before then. And he just missed the list, the cutoff was HIM! Only cuz he is still an apprentice according to paperwork, he passsed his journeys man test but just doesnt have the paperwork yet . So that saved us!

The sooner he goes on layoff the- well not good. He needs to stay working as long as he can till we find out about going back to Wayne or floback. Plus unemployment isnt enough pay and then once you run out thats it.

So pray:
1. We find out about Wayne next week.
2. He works at Maumee as long as he can.
3. If we have to pay Wayne back it won't be the full amount or that we don't have to!
4. This should be #1 so switch it around.
God's will for us- and for his perfect plan and timing!

Slowly, little by little we are feeling God's hand at work but like I said it's not super clear and surely not our timing!
I'm so thankful it's in his hands and I just have to reming myself to pray instead of worry!

Hi Jessica:

Generally your life seems quite blessed, a loving husband,Matthew three young beauties to keep you in shape chasing them around, and a caring for people job you just love. Life is good.

Focus on what you have and worry less about what you have no control over.

Yes, it is important to plan for uncertainty no matter where you are in your lifecycle and focus on that through numerous scenarios accommodating a variety of circumstances that could effect your life.

This process should lead to a positive approach to the future as the focuss shifts from the negetive of the "What's happening" problem to the possitive of the "What could happen" outcome.

It is a time of seismic change around Detroit and the rest of the world for that matter. Keep in mind change and chaos creates opportunity.

You, Matthew and threesome could be on the threshold of the opportunity of a lifetime that these disruptive changes bring to your life.

It may just be a wonderful opportunity for you and Matthew to entertain a discussion on the vision you share for your life ahead and to join in collaborating on all the possible scenarios that could take you there under any circumstances.

Suddenly, the process changes, the glass begins to look half-full rather than half-empty and you are on the path to a possitive outcome.

The words of Robert Louis Stevenson make a good mantra, "To travel hopefully is a better thing than to arrive."

Be inspired, stay connected.
