SURVEY- Do you like Garage Sales????
I love garage sales WHEN I find things but hate getting in and out of the car when I'm not finding things.The kids LOVE to saleing so we went for a bit yesterday and this is what we found:
A 25 cents sale- everything was 25 cents!!!
We got 3 vhs movies
sweater
pants
sweatshirt- new
shirt- new w/ tags
scarf- new w/tags
2 sweatband watches- new
Maddi had to have a xmas ornament
We also got a $20 hook rack for $1.00 new
video rocking chair $1.00
Kitchen set for Maddi $3.00
Mongoose scooter $3.00
plastic tricycle for Maddi $2.00
Plus while our neighbors had a garage sale Braeden had a pop can stand and sold pop for 50cents and waterbottles and we sold @ $10.00 in pop and he got a $5.00 and $1.00 tip!!!!
We were happy with our finds and sad we stated so late in the day!

Nope, haven't been to a garage sale in many years. There isn't anything I have to have, plus I don't have room to store more stuff. But it sounds like you got some great deals.
I always feel smarmy when I go to garage sales. I used to go to a lot to buy books. I also used to get small stuffed animals and balls and other toys that could act as toys for my dog. When dog toys are $2 or more, garage sales offer a very cheap alternative...although it is a little disconcerting to see your dog prancing around the house with a doll head in his mouth...
