Angel Tree

I have done the Angel Tree for years, but this was the first year I saw such need. Matt and I both saw a tag for a 4 year old boy that wanted/needed a pillow. We both looked at each other almost with tears and grabbed the tag. Did he want a pillow or need a pillow? That is what this poor 4 year old is getting for Christmas? I felt humbled and ashamed for all my possesions. I have no idea what it would be like not to have a pillow- we have about 20 pillows in our house. Some tags, were asking for underwear or sheets- obviously these are real needs. I love buying for the Angel Tree- you know these people really need and appreciate the gifts. I wanted to just pick the trees up and carry them to my car and buy all the tags!

Doe #2

Last night Doe #2 arrived. Poor thing, it's probably Bingo's mom! This was a big girl as you can see. Matt was pretty proud. I guess well be having deer tacos for Maddi's party! Yum!!! NOT!!!!!

Bingo

This was Bingo, a sweet innocent Doe in the wilderness until my husband shot her!!! Deer hunting- I don't care for it, I don't eat it and it frankly makes me sad. But my husband enjoys it so therefore I am happy when he is happy. He came home with his 1 st deer- Doe ever!!! We were so happy for him. Maddi saw her laying in Tony's truck and later kept asking were her deer was cuz she named her Bingo. I didn't tell her she was hanging by her neck, gutted and dripping with blood waiting to go to the butcher shop! poor Bingo! We will mis her. Braeden on the other hand was all over the amnly activitie with his Dad! Now go get a BUCK!

Kenzie had a theme of Grossology at school and they learned hw to make wounds and blisters, so she is not really injured here in case you thought she was. It was pretty gross, they also made snot!
