Shoulder out

Saturday on a cleaning frenzy, Iwas shaking out a rug quite fiercly and out popped my shoulder! All the way out of socket, hanging there! I thought I was going to die! Thank God it quickly went right back. Went to the Chiro monday and it is much better but keeps popping and clicking, hopefully it will heal, it is not painful just sensitve and I have to be careful, especially lifting patients at work. This hasn't happen in 21 years! 7th grade Volleyball it came out and the coach had to slam me against the bleachers to get it back in. They say all my sockets are loose like that. Guess I wasnt glued together well!

I think we did it!

I think we finally did it! Cold Turkey! Yesterday I was leaving for a long day of appts and errands so I told Maddi to go find her binky, we looked and looked and could not find it. We kept telling her she was getting to big for it and gave it to her only at nap time and bedtime, but other times we gave in cuz it kept her from screaming and her behavior changed with it, it made her calm. But I was continually noticing her top teeth protruding along with going on 2 1/2 years old so I thought we better just do it.

She understood we left the house and could not find it even tho she continued to ask for it. So home we went after a busy day and she was way past her naptime, so I rocked her and she kept saying my binky, my binky I kept telling her we lost it, she cried but finally went to sleeep. Normally she doesnt cry ever and if she does she doesnt stop till youve fixed her problem, but again she rarely has problem so she rarely cries.

Well last night she cried again, so went in to rock her again and she said, my binky, it lost? Mom, did my Daddy throw it away? my binky lost mom? I a big girl? You had to be there it was very sweet.

So today we are on nap #2 with NO binky! She asked but I told it was lost and rocked her again. I think we did it! No turning back now! Which will be hard when she screams and you want to plug her mouth!

St. Patrick's Day

Did you remember your green? I didn't and I guess no one noticed cuz I didn't get a pinch. Which I find really annoying anyhow!

Fried Chicken

If your hungry for fried chicken don't look to Blaze dinner for it!
We thought we'd try Blaze on Douglas Rd. with our entertainment coupon. Matt was really hungry for fried chicken. So he ordered a 3 piece dinner for $6.99.

I am not exagerrating if you hooked all 3 pieces together it still didnt total the size of one piece! I kid you not the chicken leg looked as tho it came off a day old chick, it didnt even have enough meat on it for a bite. We are not complainers but this was ridicouls!!! So he wouldn't say anything so I did, I took it back up there and said, we ordered the 3 piece dinner is this how it should look? So she cheerfully gave us another piece as our waitress told her snottly that we are her table and thats the size of the dinner it should be. There was not even enough chicken in the basket for a kids meal!

I had a good hamburger and the kids loved their mac and cheese. They had large menu, resonibly priced and they were busy!!!!!!

Matt always has bad luck at restaurants ALWAYS!!!!!!! If it can go wrong, it does for him!

New Walmart

Did anyone know there is a new Walmart at Spring Meadows, right behind Sam's Club? It's a Supercenter with groceries. My mon told me a few weeks ago she saw the sign but didn't know if it was open yet. So the other day I was a spring meadows and remembered cuz I briefly saw the sign, so I drove back there, it is very hidden!!! And sure enough it was open. It does not have the typical Walmart look, very different- I liked it! And I couldn't believe they said they opened in July of 2006!!! I was so disappointed with myself cuz I am always up on the new stores! Rather than fight the crowd at Central Ave I think I'll drive a few extra miles to Airport Hwy cuz know one was there!!!!

I miss it!!!

I never realized how much I missed playing the piano until lately, a couple times a week different people come into Aspen Grove to play on the grand piano. Every time it makes me miss it so badly. I used to play when I was bored or sad or mad or in trouble or even glad. So basically I played quite a bit- I played for about 13 years. I tried to take lessons again a few years ago but my teacher was so mean I always wanted to cry. I have a piano, not a baby grand but a piano and a keyboard but now I suck and it makes me mad!!! And it is literally buried in Maddi's play room. Someday... maybe when Im old and retired and my fingers dont work and I cant see or hear so I wont know how bad I really play- yep that will be a good time.

Did anyone go see our very own Adam Duckworth is this play? Very entertaining, he did a great job! Hope to see you in other upcoming plays Adam! Way to go Charlie!!! You can still catch the play the next few weekends at the Village Players Theater on Upton Ave.

Photo Shoot

Well, as many of you may have read, my brother in law was threatening to display a recent photo he shot of me. At first I was really scared because it was a really ugly picture! But part of me thought I know he wouldnt possibly do that to me. I never like myself in pictures!

I am also flattered by the amount of response that you people are actually reading my blog and want an update.

Though there were some better photos he got of me I really dont think this one is all to bad.

I like the angle he shot it at and its nicely centered. The color is a little off and I am slighlty squinting but I really am pleased with it.

My feelings are a little hurt that he thought this was such a horrible photo but I am happy with it! I feel pretty! Oh so pretty!!!!
