Help me out!

Kenzie has a theme at school for Halloween called Grossology and they dress up like mad scientist instead of regular costumes. So I need to take in a snack that looks gross but is edible. Im sure everyone will bring in dirt pudding! Any ideas?? Im clueless!!!!

I recieved this in an email, but haven't researched it yet myself but htis is what it said. Marketing has already begun and I have to admit I was fooled by the ads at the theatre when I saw it, I had no idea! It looks alot like the Narnia series but is so far from it so BEWARE!!!!

A new Children's movie out in December called THE GOLDEN COMPASS- written by Phillip Pullman, a proud atheist who belongs to secular humanist sociteties. He HATES C. S. Lewis's Chronicle's of narnia and has written a trilogy to show the other side. The movie has been marketed to fool kids and parents into buying this trilogy where in the end the children kill God and everyone can do as they please. Nicole Kidman stars in the movie so it will be highly advertised.

Pullman. a prominent British atheist, has acknoledged that this is in fact his goal. He has claimed that it is my goal to go after Christianity, I want God to be dead in my works. I want to indermine Christianity.

Youth Group

Kenzie called every friend she could think of to go to the youth group concert at Crossroads tonight, and ended up taking 5 girls! She does not care what people think of her and she is not afraid to invite them. One girl said as we were pulling in "Ive never, ever been to church" another replied "Not even on Christmas?" unfortunaltely thats about the only time this particular girl goes. I hope they want to come again and say YES to God!

Just say NO!!

I am so proud of MacKenzie, she went to a sleep over last night and the girls were going to cross a busy road in the dark at 9:00pm and go ding dong ditching (ringing doorbells and running). well, Kenzie didn't feel safe crossing the road in the dark and she didn't think it was a good idea to do the doorbell thing, so she said NO! I'm not going. The girls were very mad at her but she told them they could go and she would stay at the house but they didn't want to leave her. I was really amazed and proud that she kept her ground and refused to go, but she said they were really MAD! She also couldn't believe they all had cell phones and kept calling and texting people- she thought that was really stupid. I think she may have agreed to go but she knew my story when I was younger a friend and I pranked called people and I was escorted home in a cop car during my parents home and garden show for the small town of Blissfield. She knew there may be a concequence for her action. Yeah! My kids do listen, well sometimes!

Did you hear? We are suppose to dress in formal wear for Kids Street Sunday! This should be fun, I sure hope we aren't the only ones to show up in this! I wonder if I can get into my wedding dress? Although I love the dress I wore to our 10 year renewal. Which one should I wear?

Good Book

Matt and I are reading a good book together. We tend to get into a vicious cycle (crazy cycle, as the book calls it). We are fabulous at stonewalling each other! Talks about men and women and how we get in these cycles and it explains men and women, all biblical. The book came with his seminar too. A must read for couples!!!

Matt is laid off for 2 weeks, so he is playing Mr. Mom. He will do a great job!
